This is a CodeClub utilising the Minecraft Education platform to teaching Coding and Digital Design skills. Activities will involve Coding within Minecraft worlds (and some fun game play to test the Code), Digital Design and Modding in Minecraft, and 3D Design & Printing for export into Minecraft worlds. The club will explore Coding and Computer Science & Software Engineering to delve deeper into students’ Coding languages and capabilities. Teaching will be individualised to student’s abilities, however the structure and content of the activities planned are intended to target upper primary students with prior experience in Coding (if your child has attended a CodeClub or RoboClub with us for at least 1 term, then they will be ready to tackle this club).

All equipment required will be provided for use during club sessions, including laptops & iPads, for individual and/or partner work - depending on the activity.

After finalising payment and completion of the online pre-booking form, you will receive an automated email to confirm your child's registration, followed by the required permission forms to complete for your child’s participation in Term 2. Please contact us if you have any questions about this process.

As always, thank you for your support - your child’s registration fees help us to provide STEM education and social opportunities to disadvantaged children in the Illawarra, remote outback towns, and in developing countries overseas. We can't wait to inspire your child with the amazing things that they can dream and achieve! :)
